16 Jun Spark Autism Summer Camp 2023
Summer is a time for fun in the sun and many school-aged kids will attend a camp of some sort. We didn’t want our kids to miss out on the fun!
Who?
- Children age 5-10
- Speech-language, fine motor, gross motor, or social skills that are delayed/impaired are welcome
- Must be able to participate in group activities with minimal elopement or aggressive behaviors toward peers
- Must be potty trained
When?
- June 19th – Aug 4th (no groups week of July 3rd)
What Are The Camp Hours?
- Monday & Wednesday
- Times: 9:30am – 11:30am
What Will We Be Doing?
Summer at Spark will focus on building language, play, and social skills through fun and interactive outdoor activities. Speech and Occupational therapists will guide the building of these skills necessary for successful learning and social interactions!
Activities Include:
- Weekly themes
- Literacy activities
- Movement breaks
- Sensory play
- Social play
- Sing-alongs
- And more!
